How To: Photoshop Tutorial to show snapshots

You must have seen that A image is developed such that it looks like we have pasted many small images and developed a full image, that is by keeping many snap shots together to get a full image. This is the tutorial which teaches you the same. Also, this tutorial works fine with adobe photo shop CS4 :)

Photoshop Tutorial to show snapshots

  1. Select the rectangular marquee tool, that by clicking it.
  2. Then drag the rectangular image, as shown in the image after 4th step.
  3. Then click select from the menu bar.
  4. Then click on transform selection, as shown in the below image,
  5. Click on the corner anchor and drag it by its corner. Then press enter to apply the transformation.
  6. Press Ctrl+j to copy the layer, that is selected.
  7. Select the background layer and repeat steps from 2 to 6 to get many duplicate layers, as shown in the below image.
  8. Select any one of the layer, which was duplicated/ copied and then right click on it and then select blending options. Then click drop shadow and inner shadow.
  9. Check the stroke check box in the same window.
  10. Choose white color for the stroke.
  11. then select inside for the position from the drop down menu.
  12. And then select the select, which ever you want.
  13. and then press enter or click ok, as shown in the image.
  14. Right on the layer, which we formatted, and copy the layer style, as shown in the image.
  15. Select remaining layers.
  16. and then right click on the layers we selected and then paste layer style, as in the image.
And then you can see the final image looks like an image which has many small images, as shown in the below image.

Just play around with the tools to learn more and to be much more creative and have fun.. :)
